With the completion of Cisco Interoperability Verification Testing, Cisco’s financial services clients gain certified access to Speakerbus’ iTurret

Speakerbus, a supplier of advanced voice solutions for the financial and command and control markets, today announced their completion of the Cisco Interoperability Verification Testing (IVT) program, resulting in a certified endpoint for Cisco Unified Communications Manager product.

Speakerbus’ SIP technology enables lines to be shared between the iTurret and Cisco endpoints, facilitating more responsive communications and enhanced user capability.  The integration of these platforms delivers a reduced back room equipment footprint (compared to digital PBX-based systems) and provides a best of breed Internet Protocol Telephony (IPT) technology solution to reduce cost, minimise complexity and enable access to Cisco advanced voice applications.

iTurret delivers traders the power, speed, control and accuracy required to thrive in today’s competitive trading environment.  Speakerbus has now further extended its iTurret reach with successful completion of compliance-testing with Cisco Unified Communications Manager 7.1, following its Avaya Aura SIP Enablement Services 5.2.1 and Avaya AuraTM Communications Manager 5.2.1 certification in Q2 2010.

“We designed the iTurret based on our 25 years of experience and knowledge of all trading environments, ensuring that it provides the scalable, robust telephony that traders need,” said John Young, CTO at Speakerbus.  “Our iTurret solution offers one of the tightest turret integrations in the market today.  Cisco IVT certification further enhances our range of ecosystem partners and increases our scope of interoperability in their multiple verticals.”
